Red Cross Teams Up With ACC to Save Pets Lives

Animal Care Center has designed stickers that can be adhered to the windows of residences where pets are present. When a fire or other emergency occurs at a home, the sticker advises firemen that there are pets inside. If the owner is not available, the firemen are asked to contact ACC. The precious family members are brought to ACC where they are housed and cared for until an owner can be located. Already, numerous pets have benefited from the window sticker program which has been endorsed and supported by the Red Cross of Sonoma County. We are currently working together to provide stickers to all pet owners.
