Constance E. De Haan, DVM, Diplomate ACVR
Connie received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. After two years in private practice she attended Washington State University completing her residency in radiology in 1992. Her research involved radiation dose tolerance studies using epithermal neutron irradiation. She owned and operated Veterinary Imaging Services until 1999 and in 1993 contracted with ACC. Her areas of special interest include CT, MRI and I-131 therapy for hyperthyroidism in cats. In 1993 she received her Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology and was the Founder of the CT/MRI Society of ACVR. In 2003 she received a Bachelor of Science degree in both Genetics and Bioresource Science from UC Berkeley.
In her spare time, Connie is usually out with the sheep. As a handspinner, the wool production is of special interest. Her two border collies are always keen to help. When not with the sheep or at the spinning wheel, Connie can be found in the garden or playing her viola.
