Autumn Davidson, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVIM
From 1998 to 2003, just prior to joining ACC, Autumn served as the Director of the San Rafael veterinary clinic at Guide Dogs for the Blind, Inc., overseeing the health care of 1,000 puppies whelped annually, a breeding colony of 350 and approximately 400 dogs in training. In addition to practicing internal medicine at ACC she is a clinical professor at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, in the department of medicine and epidemiology. She specializes in small animal reproduction and infectious disease. Autumn also consults with the Smithsonian Institution National Zoological Park in Washington D. C. concerning theriogenology and internal medicine. She previously served on the board of directors for the Society for Theriogenology and the Institute for Genetic Disease Control. In 2003, she was honored with the Hills Animal Welfare and Humane Ethics Award, which recognizes an individual who has advanced animal welfare through extraordinary service or by furthering humane principles, education and understanding.
Benita von Dehn, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM
We are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Benita von Dehn, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM, to the Internal Medicine team at Animal Care Center.
Dr. von Dehn received her veterinary degree from Colorado State University. She completed her internship training at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and residency training at the University of California, Davis. Dr. von Dehn became board certified in 1996 and has worked as a small animal internist in the San Francisco Bay area as well as providing internal medicine consultation for veterinarians, for one of the largest nationwide veterinary laboratories, Idexx Laboratories.
