ACC is fortunate to have on staff two board-certified specialists in surgery who are specially trained to perform advanced surgical procedures. To assist in providing the finest care possible, ACC has four surgical suites in their surgical department equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to aid in the surgery, monitoring and stabilization of patients.

Some of the equipment utilized during and after surgical procedures includes pulse oximetry, ECG, blood pressure monitor, mono and bipolar electrocautery and a Bair Hugger® body warmer. Exploratory surgery of both the abdomen and the chest, various surgeries for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, reconstructive surgeries after injury or cancer and fracture repair are some of the more common procedures performed by our specialist at ACC.

Our board certified surgeons works with the other specialists at ACC to review each case and determine how to best handle each patient. Having a surgeon available on-staff gives us the ability to perform all necessary surgical procedures allowing us to better treat and care for our patients.
